Tech - Amazing Case
by J. Lynn Fraser
While most computer companies are
bent on creating increasingly
high-tech casings, Thornhill,
Ont.-based Suissa Computers is
turning the utilitarian PC into
something decidedly more organic.
Instead of a mass-produced plastic
shell, the firm builds stately
hardwood cases around the
high-performance components. Each is
handcrafted by industrial designer
Howard Suissa, who will personally
install the units anywhere in North
America. Includes Windows XP
Professional x32, 960 GB to 2 TB
hard drive space, LCD monitor,
keyboard, mouse. From $6,150.
(Shown, Yasuko model in zebrawood
and walnut, $7,045). (905) 707-8258
